I was enlisted to develop the content strategy, UX and tone of voice document for Condeco’s new website following their rebranding. I then wrote 30 pages of web copy, a new product brochure and a variety of case studies to be populated on the site.
(from tone of voice guidelines)
Our brand voice provides a tone and style to our written communications. A consistent voice reinforces our brand attributes as much as our visuals. Using the ideas behind Powering Change to guide messaging, our copy should be clear, insightful and useful. Avoid being flamboyant or overly technical. As a leader in our market we should be confident, assured and jargon free. Always relate to our clients and the benefits our products bring to their working lives. Be personable yet direct and address them as ‘you’ where possible.
